About This Location
Doheny State Beach Campground is 62-acre park located at the mouth of San Juan Creek in Dana Point. Features over a mile of white, sandy beach and some of the warmest water and surfing (north end of beach) in Southern California. A number of outdoor activities includes swimming, hiking, biking, beach combing, volleyball, horseshoes, surf fishing and much more. There is also a marina, boat launch, shops and restaurants within a mile of the campground.
Pet Friendly
Dogs are permitted at Doheny State Beach campground, day-use/ picnic area. However, they must be leashed and attended to by an adult at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the beach at any time.
